Oliver Lahr from TSV Buch II scored three free-kick goals in a 5-1 victory against Post SV. The Kreisliga Nürnberg game, recorded using a Veo camera, has since gone viral on social media.

"At first, I just thought it was cool—finally, a nice free-kick goal again," Oliver Lahr says, reflecting on the game’s highlights. "I wasn’t even aware during the match that there were three great goals in one game. It was only after the match and all the reactions—especially online—that I realized that scoring three free-kick goals in one match is not so common."

After the game, Oliver Lahr watched the goals many times—"at least 10 times," he admits. The goal was quickly shared on social media, where, among others, the major German football media outlet Kicker shared it.

His performance has also drawn admiration from teammates and friends. "Everyone said they’d never seen anyone score three free-kick goals in one game before. But of course, it was more important that we won this crucial match in the relegation battle," he adds.

A Tool for Development

The game was recorded with Veo, and Oliver Lahr is enthusiastic about the technology that made it possible to share and analyse his performance. "I personally think Veo is really cool. The quality of the videos is excellent, the handling is very easy, and the analysis is very straightforward—and of course, valuable for reviewing the game and improving further," he says.

According to Oliver Lahr, the ability to rewatch the game is a significant step forward for both himself and his team. "It’s great to watch your own actions and the whole team’s play—or the highlights—afterward. It’s easier to analyse the game on video and from a spectator’s perspective. For me personally, it’s very valuable, especially to see the time you sometimes have during the game," he concludes.
