Taking football to the next level with video recording
We have taken a trip to the beautiful city of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Here we visited Major League Soccer's CF Montréal to chat about their use of video technology and Veo in the academy.
At Centre Nutrilait, the training ground of CF Montreal, formerly Montreal Impact, we were curious to hear about the player's future goals and how Veo has impacted the academy. Will technology help these players?
Without spoiling too much, we can undoubtedly say that technology has greatly impacted both the team as a whole and the individual players' performances.
We met up with two talented and ambitious U19 soccer players, Yannick Laurent and Lundon Durand Browne.

See the game from another perspective
When the team is on the field, everything is going fast. Recording the soccer matches through Veo gives a new understanding of the game.
"You can see the movements, the space, and the players behind your back that you never knew were there on the field, so it's really helpful", says Yannick Laurent.
He also points out that Veo can highlight personalized key moments of the game and make them into mashups.
"This allows me to send it to scouts that don't necessarily come up here to the north in Canada. It's an easy way to be seen on a bigger scale, and the next step for me is to push as hard as I can to get to that first pro contract."
Veo is looking forward to following Laurent, Browne, and the rest of the team at CF Montreal Academy in their future football careers. And we can't wait to see even more highlights on the field from the Canadian team.

Elevate your coaching
Chalier believes that technology will be a massive part of coaching in the upcoming years. With the technology, the coaches can increase the process going forward for each of the players' development.
"It’s definitely an evolution. It’s not only about coaching and having those conversations but now having the technology to bring a visual to what we’re trying to say brings clarity and the players are definitely asking for it,” says Jason Di Tullio.
What you do on the field never lies. The Veo Cam captures the entire field, allowing coaches to have a birds-eye view over the games. There is no hiding from the camera.
“We always say that what you do on the field doesn't lie. If you can show a little bit of a video of what you want, go on the field and actually work on it, you’re already advancing in the progression of every player,” says Di Tullio.
